Upgrade of the MarinHealth high-voltage electrical infrastructure
Upgrade of the MarinHealth high-voltage electrical infrastructure involving a 12,000-volt power distribution center, switchgear, and feeders associated with the BloomEnergy project. Establishing technical requirements for site distribution, transformer installation, short-circuit studies, and arc flash assessments. Key efforts involve replacing existing PG&E equipment with MarinHealth-owned systems and coordinating emergency generator integration to ensure site reliability and code compliance.
We provide comprehensive medium-voltage electrical engineering and power systems analysis, specializing in critical care infrastructure upgrades and safety compliance. Our technical expertise encompasses precise short-circuit analysis, advanced ETAP PowerTools modeling, and overcurrent protective device coordination studies engineered to maximize system reliability down to the mechanical limit of mechanical breaker operations. Focused on strict code compliance and personnel protection, we conduct exhaustive arc flash risk assessments, deliver definitive incident energy mitigation reviews, and engineer fault-isolation solutions that keep vital facility infrastructure securely online.
